Hillsongs United - At The Cross lyrics

Hillsongs United - At The Cross lyrics: "Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my ways
Even when I fail You
I know You love me

Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me

Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now?

You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now (x5)

You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that it is done (x5)

And when the earth fades
falls from my eyes
You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me

Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now (x2)

You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that it is done (x4)

Garfield!

I go to Garfield school once a week to help out in a good news club. Garfield is a inner city school, where most of the kids have one or two parents in jail. A good news club is a afternoon club, we sing, play review games, and learn about God; and last but not least we love the kids. Today we watched the second half of the Jesus movie for children. There were two girls in particular who were very touched by the movie. They both cried when Jesus was crucified. My dad and I talked to one of the girls about how to get to heaven and why Jesus had to die....but i don't know about her. The other girl had to leave a little bit early and she was still crying. Would you join me in praying for these girls, and for all the kids at Garfield. Also for two little boys who have both had trouble this year. Thanks!!

Easter poem!!!!

Easter!

Easter celebrates the rising of Jesus on the third day,
How He came out of love to save a wretch like me,
How He was perfect and came to a imperfect world;
Just for me.
O how he loves you and me!
Hallelujah!
He loves me a sinner-while himself a Savior!
Hallelujah!

John 15:13!

John 15:13 says this: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
This to me is such a amazing verse. It has a command, a action, and it talks about love. I really kind of just want to talk about part b. That he lay down his life for his friends. Wow. My whole life i thought it meant that i should be willing to die for my friend. And don't get me wrong i think that is does say that. But i also think it says a whole lot more. I think that the term "lay down his life" can be seen in different ways. I think sometimes it just means talking to a visitor at church. Helping the elderly when you know you could be getting your nails done. Sitting by a kid at school or Sunday school that is not really accepted. Lately I've been think a lot about accepting people. I've wondered do I really do it often enough. Just because the visitors a boy does that mean i can't just say hi? Why don't we? Why do we leave the greeting to someone else? Jesus was a friend to the outcasts. We need to follow His example. Jesus loved us enough to leave a perfect heaven to come to a broken world. Are we willing to lay down our life, our time, our money(in some cases) to help others. I encourage you to take this Bible verse to heart.
